The 19th of August

Last night I was invited into the village Cheremshanka. Poets Vyacheslav Dolgov and his wife Helena live and work now in Cheremshanka tourist centre, they write beautiful poetry. Helena found me on the Island and after the festival their friend drove us straight to the tourist centre. I was very tired, just ready to drop, but Slava (small name from Vyacheslav) Dolgov helped me. He’s good in energy massage, so he took away pain and tiredness from me with his massage. At last, I met face to face with people whose site ”The Light Of Love Hasn’t Faded!” I created.

It’s the last day of my stay here; tomorrow I leave here for Moscow. Wonderful miracles with the weather! At the 17th it was raining the whole day, at the 18th the sun shined and it was very warm, but today in the afternoon rain began again.

In the morning there was a concert of folk music on the open stage near the Gallery “Blagovest”, this concert was cancelled at the 17th because of rain. In the afternoon one more concert.

At last I met a painter-designer Igor Mohov whose site ”Igor Mohov’s Studio” I created, too. Besides paintings Igor also makes beautiful wooden furniture and interior things in style “forest plastic”. New Igor’s paintings were made in realistic style, people in his portraits looked like alive ones, though earlier he worked in avant-garde sign style. I liked very much his new paintings: portraits and his bespoke painting “A rock”. I visited his studio and touched his wonderful, amazing smooth, pleasing by touch and, it seemed, warm wooden things. They were made by the real Master!

In the evening at 8 pm the last final concert and discotheque. The discotheque began from a small jazz concert. Some young fellows from different places played instrumental music mainly. After them a well coordinated group from the commune “Anura” showed their performance. Light elegant girls flitted on the stage like fabulous birds in their dance. At first they danced some dances alone. Then in Egyptian dance fellows went into the stage and with the girls they performed an interesting “winged” dance.

“Anura” in translation from Hindu means “The King Of Heart”. The commune “Anura” is situated in a village of Kemerovo region and exists 13 years already. The idea of spiritual purity and self-perfection, “the path of heart” gathered people here. Everything is built here on voluntary lines. Every day in the commune starts with a prayer. They understand a prayer as a talk of soul with God in silence.

Inhabitants of the commune think that they can find a path to people’s hearts through art; because of it they created a theatre, they sing songs and dance. Their theatre visits every place where it’s invited. There are about 200 people in the commune. They are all vegetarians. Inside the commune they don’t use money; they give things, food to each other for free. They eat vegetables and fruits which they plant in their gardens. In the commune there is a school, a kindergarten and a bakery where they bake bread and give it to people every other day. Most inhabitants of the commune are young people, all of them came there from different places, and there are many married pairs among them. There are more women than men in the commune, but it’s common thing everywhere. They told us that they live in criminal region. Because of it they set up “a patrol” to help local police and in the evenings they patrol their village.

The commune was invited to the Forum of Positive Changes which was in Moscow at 14-16 of September, 2007.

On the concert we also listened to Svetlana Vladimirskaya, Vadim Redkin, Diorisiy and other musicians. At the end of the concert Svetlana and Vadim together performed a new Svetlana’s song “New World”. Other participants of the concert joined to them, too.

The audience danced. Nobody wanted to go home after the concert.

The 20th of August.

Today is a day of my departure. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go to the information centre in Kuragino, but other commissions of the Moscow centre I carried out.

Rain was the whole night. In the morning it was still raining, too.

Today everybody who had a wish could climb to the Mountain to the Abode of Dawn, spend a night in a tent camp and tomorrow climb to the Heavenly Abode for liturgy. After it they will return to Petropavlovka. But I’m going away today; my train departs from Abakan for Moscow at 6 pm Abakan time (2 pm Moscow time).

At 11 am I had to be at the Petropavlovka bus stop. A minibus must come there and take us to Abakan. I had breakfast already – it was my last meal in Petropavlovka. The weather is moist and cold, it was rain without end. I already put all my clothes into my suitcase and didn’t have a jacket for getting warm. Even a cup of hot coffee didn’t help.

Suddenly I saw my friend Lyudmila; we worked together in the Abode of Dawn in the kitchen of tent camp 4 years ago. Though it wasn’t unexpectedly. Yesterday I met her and her husband Valeriy at the concert; we went home together after it. It was very dark in the street; something happened with street lamps, they didn’t work. But Valeriy had a pocket flashlight and he lighted the road.

And today Lyudmila came to see me off. The rain became stronger, it turned into downpour. Usually such downpours end very quickly, but this one was particular. Lyudmila providently brought her warm jacket for me. We didn’t wait until the end of the downpour and went to the bus stop. We reached only the middle of the road and were drenched to the skin, in spite of our jackets and umbrellas. Luckily straight in the middle of the road there was a house where Lyudmila and her husband worked. There she changed our wet jackets for dry ones and we went further.

There were some people on the bus stop already and soon more people came. At 11 am a minibus came, but the driver said: “I’m sorry; I’ll come in an hour. I have to drive artists to Cheremshanka.” Of course, we didn’t want to wait one more hour, but the downpour turned into a light rain to that time. So we meekly took reality as it was.

At last, about noon our minibus came and we hardly loaded ourselves with all our bags, suitcases, backpacks and other things into it.

All the time while we were going it was raining. Sometimes it was a downpour, sometimes a light rain. Million times we were glad that we were inside a dry and warm minibus. Only when we came to the bound of Hakassia we saw the sun. There was very warm and sunny in Abakan. So it took about 4,5 hours to get from Petropavlovka to Abakan. During the road we had time to become dry and also to listen to the songs of Diorisiy and even to sing.

I came into the train which had to get me to Moscow. My current trip to Siberia was almost over. In our carriage many people were going from the Festival of Good Fruits from Petropavlovka. Words like passwords were heard from everywhere: “Petropavlovka”, “Cheremshanka”, “Vissarion”…

I was carrying home a lot of impressions, gifts and acquisitions… I’ve got a piece of festive blessed bread and a blessed candle which was given to me by a priest before the meeting with Vissarion. From this candle I’ll light a fire at home in Moscow where I’ll come soon. I was carrying many new CDs and DVDs. Also in my suitcase there was a picture of Igor Goncharov which I bought in Petropavlovka and Igor wrote on it very good wishes for me.

And at last I met and made friends with people whose sites I created: painter Igor Mohov, poets Helena and Vyacheslav Dolgov… Even Diorisiy has opened up before my eyes from the new side.

I’ve been again in the Land of New Promise and met the Teacher. And I’ve got the main thing for what I went there – I’ve found joy and strengthened my spirit. I hope that it will help me to apprehend reality and evaluate my acts from the new side.

And I hope to come back again to Petropavlovka, Cheremshanka and Imiss which became so dear and close to me.
